River Valley Martial Arts is proud to be a sponsor of the Women-Safe Communities (WSC) program.  Developed by the Christian Martial Arts Council,  this program exposes commonly used predator tactics to lure teen and adult women so they can be harmed in some way.  Further, the program teaches the “Women-Safe” self defense program, empowering women with proactive countermeasures to minimize their risk of becoming raped, assaulted or mugged.

Working with law enforcement, schools, church, civic and community groups, WSC helps to send a powerful message to predators...that their deviant behavior is NOT welcome in their community and together they are taking positive steps to make their city a safe place to live and raise a family.

RVMA teaches the “Women-Safe” self defense program, with proceeds going to support the Kid-Safe education program in local schools and communities.
