Practical Self-Defense For Children and Youth
Training in the martial arts offers many benefits to children and youth. Not only do students learn how to defend themselves, they learn discipline, respect, integrity, and become more self-confident in the process. Character development is an integral part of our martial arts program, and we want to help parents raise morally responsible children.

Li’l Dragons (Ages 4-6)
Li’l Dragons, our beginner program for children ages 4-6, incorporates basic martial arts fundamentals, safety, and life skills training into a fun-filled program.. Character development is an essential component of our Li’l Dragons program, as we seek to help parents raise morally responsible children. 30 minute classes meet twice weekly.
We emphasize respect for other students, family, teachers, and those in authority, to live an honorable and peaceful life, cooperation, diligence, doing your best, developing a positive self-image, and demonstrating patience.
Physical fitness and fun are key elements of our Li’l Dragons Class. Students have the opportunity to be recognized for special achievements, as well as promotional testings.

Kick’n Kids (Ages 7-12)
Building on the fundamentals of our Li’l Dragons curriculum, our Kick’n Kids program focuses on martial arts fundamentals, practical applications, character development, and discipline. Students are taught “danger awareness” concepts, as well as the tactics used by predators to lure potential victims.
Self-defense concepts are regularly practiced, as are conflict avoidance tactics. It’s not just important to know how to defend yourself; knowing how to defuse a problematic situation can eliminate the need for violence. Helping kids build a positive self-image of themselves, as well as learning the importance of being a positive role model are integral components of our curriculum. 1 hour classes meet twice weekly.
Kid-Safe Self Defense
Teaching our children how to avoid becoming a predator’s victim is an important part of what we are about. We regularly practice defensive countermeasures with our students they can utilize should someone seek to do them harm. No one can guarantee your child will never come to harm, but we can give them essential tools they can use in the event they are targeted that could spell the difference between life and death.
